Mountain View, CA - April 28, 2010 – Matisse Software today announces the immediate availability of the new open-source PHP-Matisse interface to the Matisse database, a well-suited interface to build and deploy cost effective web applications and services. The Matisse PHP interface has been redesigned to fully take advantages of many of the PHP 6 features back-ported to PHP 5.3 and now provides developers with functionalities matching its popular interfaces for Java, .NET and C++. The tight integration between PHP and Matisse has proven to reduce application complexity with direct object-to-object mapping and to accelerate development through the fusion of native object support and SQL. “With the new Matisse PHP interface, it has never been easier for developers to try out new business ideas for the web;” said Didier Cabannes, President and CEO of Matisse Software. “Thanks to a vibrant Matisse Developer Community, the driving force behind this new open-source initiative. Now, Matisse with PHP and Apache especially running on Linux offers a cost effective platform to deploy scalable web applications and services.” Matisse 8.3 supports the popular platforms with Windows, Linux, Java
and .NET frameworks, SQL and XML standards, and a broad range of language
bindings including Java, C++, C, C#, VB.NET, Python, Perl, PHP and Eiffel.
Most language bindings are published as open source software. Pricing and Availability About Matisse Software ### Matisse and the Matisse logo are the trademarks of Matisse Software Inc.
