Mountain View, CA - January 16, 2006 – Matisse Software today announces support for Microsoft’s new .NET Framework 2.0 and Visual Studio 2005. Visual Studio 2005 and Matisse 7 combine to form a rich platform for delivering the next generation of state-of-the-art applications and services. With Visual Studio 2005 and .NET 2.0, Microsoft continues to lead innovation in developer productivity and to enable its partners like Matisse Software to become more competitive. For example, the ADO.NET 2.0 Framework has been greatly enhanced to make it easier for software vendors that support running on the user's choice of database, as well as programmers who think that the database might change (from Microsoft SQL Server to Matisse, for example) during the lifetime of the project. “SQL Server 2005 speaks to those who aren't terribly interested in writing complex logic,” said Didier Cabannes, CEO of Matisse Software, “so combining Matisse 7 with Visual Studio 2005 represents one of the best value propositions in the marketplace to implement scalable complex applications and services that developers could only dream to build until now.” Cabannes continued: “Our objective is to empower clients to act on untapped complex data so they can drive revenue growth as they never thought possible before.” The new Matisse .NET binding for the .NET 2.0 Framework is immediately available for download on the Matisse Software web site. Specific advantages for developers using Matisse 7 with Visual Studio 2005 include:
