Inside Sales Representative
Overview
Matisse Software, developer of the Post-Relational SQL database, is
seeking for an Inside Sales Representative. In this position you will
be responsible for generating and qualifying a pipeline of new prospects
and close sales throughout the US and Canada.
Responsibilities
- Research and profile targeted
companies, identify key contacts, uncover opportunities and set meetings
for the appropriate sales staff to help drive business
- Generate and close sale deals
based on prospective customers through the company database and customer
lists generated from the company seminars and other marketing activities
- Prepare quotes and help facilitate
closing additional business from existing accounts
- Use salesforce.com CRM to document
and drive activity and status
- Prepare activity and forecast
reports as required
- Ability to identify and document
prospect’s needs, expectations and priorities in order to determine
appropriate sales person or action
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of Sales Experience in
the software industry with a track record of success
- Strong written and verbal skills
a must with a strong business
- Ability to grasp complex technology
solutions and maintain an understanding of our marketplace including
competitors
- Experience with SalesForce.com
is a plus
